Common questions
What families ask us most.
If your question isn't here, please reach out. We're always happy to talk through specifics during a consultation.
Do you offer a consultation?
Every new family can request a phone consultation to discuss concerns, answer questions, and determine whether speech therapy is the right next step.
Which states do you serve?
ReImagine is licensed in California, Texas, and Idaho. Teletherapy is available to clients anywhere in CA, TX, and ID.
What ages do you work with?
We serve clients from birth through 102. Our pediatric work spans early intervention, articulation, fluency, language disorders, and autism support. Our adult neuro work focuses on stroke and aphasia rehabilitation, dysphagia, cognitive-communication after TBI, Parkinson's, ALS, and other neurological conditions.
How much does speech therapy cost?
We offer transparent private-pay rates and flexible payment plans based on family financial need. You can use your HSA or FSA cards to pay for sessions directly. Upon request, we provide a monthly itemized superbill you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. See our Pricing & Insurance page for details.
Do you accept insurance?
You can use your Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account cards to pay for all sessions directly. Upon request, we provide a monthly itemized superbill you can submit to your insurance company to seek potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many private plans cover a portion of speech therapy. We encourage you to call your insurer before starting therapy.
How does teletherapy work?
Teletherapy is conducted through our secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You log in from your home at the scheduled time and meet with your speech-language pathologist in real time. Texas requires the initial evaluation in person; California and Idaho do not. Most patients are appropriate for telepractice, though some may need a family member as a "facilitator" during sessions.
Do I need a physician referral?
Not always. We accept both physician and personal (self) referrals. However, your insurance company may require a physician referral or prior authorization for reimbursement. We can help you understand what's needed during your consultation.
How long does speech therapy take?
It depends on the condition, severity, frequency of sessions, and how consistently home practice is completed. Some patients graduate in a few months; others benefit from longer-term support. We'll give you a realistic estimate after your evaluation and update you regularly on progress.
How do I schedule an evaluation?
The easiest way is to request a phone consultation through our contact page or by calling (214) 301-0413. During that call, we'll discuss scheduling, what to expect at the evaluation, and any paperwork you'll need.
Do you offer school or medical facility contracts?
Yes. ReImagine provides school and medical facility contract services across California, Texas, and Idaho. Contact Chelsea Roberts directly at chelsea@reimaginespeech.com for contract inquiries.
