Adult daughter of stroke survivor

Our mother suffered a debilitating stroke at the age of 63. Paralyzed and aphasic, she remained driven by encouragement and purpose. Working with Chelsea Roberts during her CSUS graduate program, a thorough evaluation and solid plan of care was established while keeping our family very much apprised of progress and home therapies. The solid program and empathetic care set the bar for other therapists.

Chelsea Roberts worked with our adopted son Ryan once we were advised that Ryan would need therapy for his 'lazy jaw' and protruding tongue. Chelsea brought games, therapy tools, and was warmly received by my one-year-old. Believe it or not, we received tools from Chelsea after just one visit to help with Ryan's speech development — tools we could use with him daily, exercises and small ways to rewire his speech habits. We highly recommend Chelsea as she is a natural with children and extremely knowledgeable in her field.

Chelsea is a pleasure to work with. I had the wonderful experience of working alongside her in California, and she is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. On top of all of that, she is a very kind and gentle clinician. Families that cross her path will be better for working with her.
